Power supply unit for ESR furnaces
Power: 300 to 3000 kW
Frequency: 2 to 10 Hz
Built-in cooling system
Designed to comply with RoHS and REACH requirements
Electroslag melting is used for cakes forming of very high quality with definite features (including electric steel).
Electrode lowered into slag is to be a load: melting process is performed due to current run from electrode to slag. Electrode is a consumable one.
ESTEL supply sources for ESM furnaces are assembled as a rule according to inverter circuit with direct communication. Circuit includes two counter-coupled rectifiers and furnace is to be a load itself. Switching alternatively rectifiers the out voltage can be get with variable frequency 2 to 10 Hz.
Complete set:
- two rectifiers
- cooling system
- control cabinet
- transformer (optional)
